I Found My Wings (away from home) 1975-77

This year, Calgary was a popular place for me. I saw it three times in 1976 WITHIN THREE months, which gave me a great deal of pleasure. First, my cousin David, who now lives in Victoria, picked me up in June to spend a weekend with his wife’s parents (Former Sicamous-ites) who live in Sundre Alberta. The rest of me ached to be on the way to Edmonton. The assembly was starting there within a couple of days & a whole slew of my friends will be there. It was the same program as it had been in Vancouver, but I’d love to have been there. I have always wanted to have a chance to attend 2 “District Assemblies” in the same summer. If I had previous arrangements I could have done it this year. I was kicking myself for not doing so. But as things turned out, other thrills were in store for me.
